We had so much fun trick or treating . The costume was such a sucess at events . The little kids at the church would come up to my daughter and pull on the suit and say ‘Hi Chicken’. Look Its A chicken! The best money for the best time.

The Cape and mask is NON-detachable. The cape is sheer thin which I like because it does not get hot for my son as a wears it almost all the time. The mask has a thin form padding for in my guess to keep mask shape. My son enjoys the cape and mask as he likes Batman.

I am a dress size 0-2, and the small is tight! Also, the material is so clingy and thin that you see EVERYTHING and it is hard to wear anything under it. Lastly, the picture clearly shows 1 slit, yet the real dress has 2 slits up each leg that are very high. I need to return this.

Overall, this is a really terrific costume that will stand up to some wear and tear. My 4-year-old is much taller than most kids his age, and we were very frustrated to find that the standard Clone Trooper costume we bought at the store just barely fit him, despite being labeled as fitting kids 5-7 years old. This Darth Vader costume was a good find for us, as it’s roomy and will last him for at least a year or two.

The good: The costume itself is pretty well-constructed, and much more detailed than the standard Vader costume you find at a certain huge chain toy store. My son was really wowed by it, and wanted to wear it constantly despite the fact that it was the middle of summer! It’s a lot of fun for imaginative play. The silver parts of the suit are actually constructed of a flexible plastic-type substance that gives it a much more realistic, 3-D look than the usual printed costume. The cape is detachable.

The bad: Even though the costume shows gloves and a light saber, you’ll need to purchase these items separately. (The gauntlet gloves are really nice, and in my opinion, really finish the costume.) The costume belt is WAY too big, and not very adjustable. To get it to fit our son, we have to tie it in the back rather than using the velcro fastener. This makes visiting the bathroom less than fun!

I’d buy this costume again, but would be happier if they’d include gloves and make the belt more easily adjustable.

My 4-year old LOVES this costume. He wears it daily. It really is a very cute costume. Not really made well enough to last long through the wear and tear of a young child’s daily use but great costume for imaginiative play nonetheless.

Thanks, the staff was helpful and hand picked and shipped my costume ahead of schedule when I called. I got it just in time and it was exactly as I expected, including instructions on stuffing the costume and getting the creases out from being folded.
